Support for education and awareness part of strategy to strengthen research ecosystem
The LEO Foundation has awarded grants worth a total of DKK 15 million to education and awareness initiatives in the latest round of grants. The recipients are Astra – the national center for Science Education, Bloom – a festival for natural science, and lex.dk – a Danish online encyclopedia. Education and awareness grants are part of the Foundation’s strategy to support not only research in itself, although this remains the core area of the Foundation’s philanthropic work, but also initiatives which can have a positive impact on the research ecosystem.
