The LEO Foundation has the privilege of welcoming Signe Rømer Holm to the Foundation as of 1 December.

With the overall aim of improving the lives of people living with skin diseases, the LEO Foundation is committed to supporting skin research of the highest quality, in order to discover more about the skin, skin diseases and skin health.

We have high ambitions for our philanthropic activities and plan to increase the funding significantly in the coming years. In support of this important development, we have expanded the grants team with a new Scientific Officer – Signe Rømer Holm.

Signe’s key responsibilities are focused around ensuring operations related to grant applications, expert reviews and administrative processes related to and driving the development and operations of grants in progress. Signe will also be involved in developing new grant types, developing our work on impact assessment and other initiatives designed to help fulfill the Foundation’s ambition to improve the lives of people living with skin diseases.

Signe Rømer Holm brings valuable experience to the LEO Foundation. Her previous position was as a Senior Grant Manager at the Novo Nordisk Foundation. In the past, she has also held positions as Administrative Coordinator at DTU Health Technology and as Project Manager at Innovation Fund Denmark.
