The Foundation as a workplace
The LEO Foundation is a committed and professional workplace, with a work environment built on strong values and a clear purpose.
We are a relatively small organization with a dedicated team of less than 20 employees, located in Nordhavn in Copenhagen. We are driven by a shared ambition to make a difference for people living with skin diseases and are motivated by knowing that everything we do – our philanthropic activities, ownership of LEO Pharma, and our investments – is aimed at paving the way for curing skin diseases.
We understand that we create the opportunities and success of the LEO Foundation and our mindsets are focused on development. We are good at collaborating across functions, competencies, and tasks, and are guided by our values of integrity, dedication, and ambition.
A sustainable work life
Our employees are our most important assets and the key to success. We are committed to developing and improving our workplace, and in recent years, we have had an even greater focus on the health and well-being of our employees.
We strive to create a healthy and motivating workplace, where we are happy to come to work, and where there is room for employees at different life and career stages.
A competitive salary that matches skills and tasks, favorable maternity and senior policies, pension contributions, health insurance, optional health checks, and flu vaccines are also important elements, and in addition, we daily enjoy a healthy workplace lunch.
At the same time, we aim to support a healthy balance between work and private life, and therefore flexibility is a natural part of our work rhythm. Our focus is on solving our tasks – where and when is not important.
We emphasize opportunities for personal and professional development as an important element of a healthy work life. Through our annual employee development talks, we identify and plan individual development opportunities.
Focusing on creating a strong team, where we connect both professionally and socially, is also a significant element for us. We have regular joint meetings and ‘lunch and learn’ events with professional input, and we prioritize social events that strengthen our sense of community – such as Christmas lunches, dinners, team-building events, and the annual off-site meeting with overnight stay.
