Experimentarium will open a major exhibition about the human body in 2026, supported by the LEO Foundation alongside the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Lundbeck Foundation, and Ole Kirk’s Foundation.
Super-krop!, which means Super body, is the name of an upcoming exhibition at Experimentarium in Copenhagen. The exhibition aims to illustrate the interaction between the body and behavior, targeting a younger audience.
“We are very pleased to support an exhibition that is both imaginative and fact-based, focusing on the human body for children and young people. We are confident that it will provide them with a wealth of knowledge about the body’s amazing abilities—from the skin on the outside to the interplay between organs and the immune system on the inside,” says Anne-Marie Engel, Chief Scientific Officer at the LEO Foundation.
Super-krop! is funded by the LEO Foundation, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Lundbeck Foundation, and the Ole Kirk’s Foundation with a total of DKK 30 million.
About what to expect, Kim Gladstone Herlev, CEO of Experimentarium, says:
“Look forward to a wild sensory bombardment, where you play your way to knowledge about your body as if you were on a journey inside it. The experience highlights key functions that your body performs automatically and how your behavior affects your body.”
