The LEO Foundation appoints two new members to the LEO Foundation Board of Trustees.\u00a0The two new board members are Professor Anja Boisen, DTU Health Technology, and Karin Jexner Hamberg, Senior Vice President, Medical & Regulatory Science, H. Lundbeck A \/ S, Denmark. At the same time, existing board member Eivind Kolding has been appointed new vice\u00a0chairman.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Anja Boisen and Karin Jexner Hamberg have joined the Board of Trustees at the LEO Foundation\u2019s annual meeting on 27 February 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anja Boisen has deep roots in academia and is today professor at DTU Health Technology, as well as Director of the research center IDUN. She is also vice chairman of the Danish Innovation Foundation and board member at the Villum Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karin Jexner Hamberg has a strong understanding of the entire chain of value creation in pharma development. She is MD, and today works as Senior Vice President of Lundbeck with more than 25 years of international experience from the pharmaceutical industry, including almost 15 years in LEO Pharma. In addition, she is represented in several international organisations such as EFPIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am pleased to welcome Anja Boisen and Karin Jexner Hamberg to the LEO Foundation Board of Trustees. They have extensive experience from academia and the pharmaceutical industry, and I look forward to an exciting collaboration. It is crucial that the LEO Foundation\u2019s Board of Trustees has a solid range of competencies in order to handle the many tasks we have in front of us as owner of LEO Pharma, asset managers and as a foundation with significant philanthropic activities,\u201d says Chairman of the LEO Foundation, Lars Olsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two new board members have been appointed for two years with the possibility of re-appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anja Boisen and Karin Jexner Hamberg replace Ingelise Saunders and Jens Bo Olesen, who were not renominated due to the Board\u2019s limits on age and overall term.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
