She brings more than 20 years of international experience in research, development, and innovation across the pharmaceutical and life science industry.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently, Henriette Mersebach served as Executive Vice President, Research &amp; Development at ALK, where she led the company\u2019s R&amp;D activities. In this role she helped advance the development of new treatments for children with allergies, strengthen research and innovation capabilities, and establish new strategic partnerships and innovation initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining ALK, Henriette Mersebach held several senior leadership positions at Novo Nordisk, including Corporate Project Vice President for Rare Disease &amp; Advanced Therapies and Executive Director, Clinical Development &amp; Research in the US.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Henriette Mersebach holds a medical degree and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Copenhagen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to welcome Henriette Mersebach to the Board. Henriette brings extensive experience in research, innovation, and global drug development, combined with a strong track record of strategic leadership. Throughout her career, she has led the development of new treatments and the establishment of research and innovation environments.
