The LEO Foundation, one of the world’s largest funders of dermatology research, is looking for a Chief Grant Officer to lead and further develop our significantly growing philanthropic activities. Join us on our mission to pave the way for curing skin diseases! 

In the LEO Foundation we aim to improve the lives for people living with skin diseases, and we have very high ambitions for our philanthropic activities and plan to increase our funding for scientific purposes significantly in the coming years.  

To lead and further develop the growing grant activities, we are now looking for a new Chief Grant Officer with a strong research background and track record – preferably within dermatology or related area. Someone who is motivated by discussion of scientific matters and funding opportunities with grantees, key opinion leaders, academia, hospitals, research and patient societies, and other key stakeholders, both in Denmark and internationally. And someone who will proactively take our research support programs and societal impact to the next level and contribute to the creation and further development of world-class skin research environments.

About us 

The LEO Foundation is one of Denmark’s largest commercial foundations and an engaged majority owner of the pharmaceutical company LEO Pharma. Established in 1984, the Foundation’s main objective is to ensure the company’s long-term development and success. 

Besides the ownership, the Foundation provides philanthropic grants with the aim to support the best international research in skin diseases and make Denmark a global beacon for skin research.  

In addition, the Foundation owns financial assets of around DKK 17 billion. The main objectives of the investments are to ensure continued capability to support LEO Pharma’s long-term development and provide funds for philanthropic activities.
