Leading scientists appointed to LEO Foundation Award Review Panel

LEO Foundation Awards for three regions

A global review panel has been formed for the LEO Foundation Awards. All applications will undergo a consistent, independent and unbiased evaluation process.

Kindly assisted by the investigational dermatology societies SID, ESDR, JSID, TSID and KSID, a global review panel has now been formed. All panel members have been appointed by their respective society.
All LEO Foundation Award applications will undergo a consistent, independent and unbiased evaluation. Based on recommendations from the review panel, the LEO Foundation Board of Trustees will select all awardees.

Awarding the extraordinary

Three LEO Foundation Awards of each 100.000 USD will be presented in 2019. The LEO Foundation Awards constitute a global recognition and are given annually to outstanding young scientists whose work represent extraordinary contributions to dermatology research. There will be three regional awards of 100.000 USD, one in each of the Americas, EMEA (Europe/Middle East/Africa) and Asia-Pacific regions.

Objectives for LEO Foundation Awards 

With our LEO Foundation Awards, we want to recognize the individual young researchers and scientists around the world, whose work represent extraordinary contributions to medical research and whose results advance our understanding of skin diseases and have the potential to pave the way for new and improved treatments.
